Our Dad was so many things to so many people. A thoroughly devoted husband, an absolutely amazing Dad and father in law, a fantastic grandad, a protective brother, especially to his twin sister, supportive uncle and brilliant brother in law, a great friend and a loyal member of his local parish and community. He was simply the best. 

Nothing was ever too much trouble for Dad and he was forever helping others he knew and loved.  Be it his time, his expertise in everything from woodwork to mechanical engineering, from making up the best bedtime stories and performing magic to entertaining everyone he ever met with one or two of his famous jokes, he was always happy to help.

It is with this noble characteristic in mind that we have set up this tribute page. Should you wish to express your sympathies and gratitude to our Dad, in lieu of funeral flowers we kindly ask you for donations to Cystic Fibrosis which is a charity so very close to our hearts. The overwhelming kindness already expressed by so many has helped us as a family begin to heal, a journey that will last a lifetime.
